15 Secrets

I am starting to feel like I am talking to air... Or maybe I'm just talking too much and you guys are sick of me ;)

I found something that I'm going to start implementing into my routine. There is an email group that sends you some sort of 'assignment' to do each day. I'm not sure what it is for certain. I get my first email tomorrow. I'm impressed with the 'secrets' that they shared though. I noticed that they focus on some of the things that I've been wanting to work on anyway.

The group is http://www.noexcusesworkouts.com/ You sign up, confirm your email, and then you're ready and will start getting an email a day after that.


If it doesn't work I can send out and email with an attachment.

  2. I decided to check my spam folder (yeah, it took me a few days to even think of that). All of the emails from this group were there. I am hoping I've fixed the problem and will start getting them in my inbox now. Anyway, it is working and I'm excited for it! Today's tip was on 7 healthy food habits. Just thought I'd share.

    1) Eat breakfast within 1 hour of waking up – this
    kick starts your metabolism

    2) Drink 64 ounces of water per day – you should
    be going to the bathroom every 1 to 2 hours

    3) Eat every 2 to 3 hours throughout the day
    including healthy snacks mid-morning and
    mid-afternoon

    4) Limit your portion sizes – no seconds

    5) Limit yourself to one soda per day (ideally
    zero) and no coffee after 12PM

    6) Limit yourself to 1 dessert per week:

    • Going from 7 to 1 dessert per week decreases
    calories by 3,000 (500 per dessert) per week.

    • 3,500 calories burned (more than consumed) equals
    1 pound so this one move alone could lead to 45
    pounds of weight loss in 1 year. Yes, I am serious!

    7) Chew your food until it is liquid – this slows down
    how quickly you eat and lets you think about how you
    are fueling your body.

    Follow these 7 tips and you will be pleasantly
    surprised how much this improves your energy
    and health (never mind what it will do for your
    weight loss).
